Trinity Seven episode 02
I’ll have to admit that I’m kind of taking a risk with this one. I wasn’t actually planning to write about Trinity Seven, but I cannot help but like the “ecchiness” of it all. We’ll just have to see for ourselves if the story is still any good in a few weeks’ time.
So Arata, the protagonist, is to become a demon lord, right? I’ve seen plenty of anime in my lifetime and I can honestly say that that’s a bad thing. Usually those kinds of characters end up being observed or killed on the spot. This isn’t really like that. Although he is being observed, he is also seen as some kind of almighty hero that could end up saving lives. He already has a line-up of girls that are interested in him and there doesn’t really seem to be an organisation out there that wants to use him somehow (although the school itself could be seen as an organisation that wants to use his abilities in the end).
I honestly don’t mind if all the episodes are like this one. Sure, getting stick in some room with three girls that really want to pee is a bit odd, but it put a smile on my face nonetheless. That is just how I see Trinity Seven; a quest to find the protagonist’s old world whilst he enjoys the company of those girls and the situations that they find themselves in from time to time.
After all of this, am I still interested in the next episode? Yes I am. We caught a glimpse of Arata’s unbalanced power and two new girls that want to kill him because of it. How this will end is obvious; the grim moiré will probably end up protecting its master and Arata will end up befriending those two girls after their failed attempt to kill him.
