Trinity Seven episode 03
So we finally got a clear picture of what we can expect from Trinity Seven. We already knew what it was about and had a rough idea of what we could expect, but now we know for sure. We finally know what drives this story.
Despite the fact that I dislike the way they started this episode (as though nothing had happened last week, followed up by the actual story of what happened), I still find it very interesting. I also find that other girl, Yui, quite interesting. She seems to have an interesting ability. I cannot help but be a little curious, you know?
I won’t even discuss those hot springs and beach scenes for too long. What’s the point? The protagonist is a straightforward pervert that will always say what’s on his mind without thinking things through. When you combine all of that with a group of cute girls… Well, the result is pretty darn obvious if you look at it objectively.
But no, Arata takes the spotlight again after he officially became a mage. He accessed the archives, chose a “thema”, and actually entered this so-called “magus-mode”. I am not sure if I understood this correctly, but I am pretty sure that a mage can only research one “thema” and can therefor only use one type of magic. It seems that that doesn’t apply to our protagonist. He can chose whatever “thema” he wants and utilize whatever type of magic he wants. I don’t know if there’s a limit or anything like that, but I’m guessing he’s going to be copying the magic of the Trinity Seven members, which would be why he needs to meet all seven of them.
