Trinity Seven episode 04
I knew it. The protagonist couldn’t just become an almighty mage overnight just because he can copy people’s powers. That would’ve been awesome ridiculous. Yes, this makes a little bit more sense I guess. Doesn’t it?
Surprising episode, I must say. Or was it? They focussed so much on Yui and her bizarre condition that there had to be something to it. I suppose it would only be a matter of time before something went wrong, but for it to happen right away is just… disappointing? What bothers me most is that it seems that almost anyone can cause one of those disasters. It first I thought it was only Arata since he was a special case, but now everyone with strong magical powers seems to be making that list, which means that the headmaster and the Trinity Seven (and other characters like them) pretty much come to mind.
So… Arata needs to meet certain conditions before he can uses someone else’s powers, it seems. I guess they didn’t really bother telling us what those conditions could be, but my guess is that the person whose powers he plans on using needs to give his or her consent before he can actually them, which makes his ability a bit less amazing.
What happens now? Well… I imagine that Arata has quite a few more days to enjoy his harem whilst more and more characters start to fall for him. First it was Lilith, then Arin and now Levi. It’s a matter of time before the rest follows in their footsteps. That’s the problem with stories like these; the general idea is all too obvious.
