Trinity Seven episode 08
What an odd episode. Yes, there was progress and yes I learned quite a bit more about the characters, but at the same time it feels as though very little happened. This is probably just me overthinking things again though.
Arata has become more serious than ever about magic. He is asking questions, practicing until he drops and he doesn’t joke as much anymore. That being said, why does it feel as though very little of that actually happened? I did not see him train. I did not see him learn new things. I basically saw the same thing that I’ve been seeing since the beginning; the protagonist getting into trouble by getting a bit too close to the girls even though sometimes it isn’t his fault. What happened to the things he had learned? Why skip over something so important?
I just don’t understand it. What is the point of this episode? The only scene that I might actually try to remember was when Lilith lost the top part of her bikini and Arata, whom happened to be around again, got a nice eyeful of those busty melons of her, causing Lilith to go berserk and blast him away again. This stuff has pretty much become a routine.
At least the next episode seems to be quite interesting. It seems that Arata, thanks to the headmaster’s teleportation, finally found Hijiri again. Have they arrived in another world? Or did Hijiri simply vanish to another part of the same world? I feel as though we’re about to get a lot of answers to our many questions during the next episode.
