Trinity Seven episode 10
I suppose I could consider this episode somewhat different from the rest… I could, but I won’t. How different was it, really? It still contained small portions of fan service, comedy and a somewhat predictable twist.
So Arata ascended from Demon Lord Candidate to an actual Demon Lord. Good for him! His outfit changed as well as his appearance. His hair turned white, which made me think about Tokyo Ghouls, and he has these lines across his cheek which made him look like a little badass. I definitely like what I saw, even though if it was for a short duration. It would’ve been a bit more exciting to see more and if it took more than a simple slap to make him turn back to his old self, but hey… beggars can’t be choosers. I’m just happy that I got to see something interesting.
I also noticed that Mira, the show’s tsundere, has finally given in to Arata’s charms, whatever they are. She has fully acknowledged him as a potential partner and is now actually calling him by his name instead of “the impure one”, although I must say that I definitely like the latter. His harem has made some progress once again.
But yeah, spending a few months looking for a character that’s dear to the protagonist, only to find out that she’s on the opposite team… That sucks! Watch; she’s bad now, but, just like that grim moiré from last week, Arata will beat her and make her switch sides. Either that or she’s consumed by evil and Arata has to set her free. Probably something as standard as that.
