Uchouten Kazoku episode 10
Here we go! The ending is finally in sight and the true enemies have shown themselves. I once again understand why enemies like to hide themselves in plain sight. This betrayal is unforgivable and I can only hope that Yasaburou will finally decide to fight seriously.
The episode started like any other. Everyone was going about their business and Yaichirou was preparing himself for the election. Time was running out and it was do or die. Souun, too, noticed this and decided to set his own plans in motion. I also knew that snake was up to something and that he had something to do with the death of his brother.
I had no idea that he was responsible for getting his own brother drunk, capturing him and giving him to the “Friday Fellows”. Now he’s trying to do the same thing to his nephews by holding them captive until the election is over. That’s how badly he wants to become the big chief. How utterly pathetic, don’t you think?
The biggest shock was that Satomi knew about it all along and that she was actually part of it. Maybe that’s the reason why she was crying? Maybe she regrets taking part in old man Souun’s plans. Either way; no mercy. Yasaburou should just transform and wipe them all out. This betrayal cannot go on any longer, not now that Yasaburou knows what really happened.
It aggravating episode. I hate characters like that. It certainly also explains why Satomi spent so much time with the Ebisugawa’s. This episode explains so much… That is why I have amazingly high hopes for next week. The only thing wrong with this show so far is that it’s been overlooked by so many people. How shameful!
