Yet another detective type anime, hm? Why not, that type always promises to be entertaining to some degree. But I must say that I enjoyed the first episode. They didn’t just go for your average detective anime, which would’ve probably been boring, seeing as there are plenty of those out there already.
No, definitely not. They added what I’d like to call the ‘supernatural-gene’ to the mix. Yuuki, the detective, has himself a very unique boss. His/her name is Inga, but Inga is not just your average person. Normally he just looks average, but at some point he gains the ability to transform into this busty woman that has the ability to ask someone a single question that cannot be answered untruthfully.
It looks good, although the character Inga looks a bit freaky. I’m not sure why some of the characters were dressed in the style of Napoleon, seeing as they possess technology far beyond our years. It’s the story that does it. It’s a very unique and interesting story, a story that, from this point, can go either way. It’s a detective type anime so the possibilities are endless. I think that’s one of the many pros that this Genre has to offer, the ability to go from story to story.
Plot Summary: Meiji-era story about a detective named Yuki Shinjuro, who solves various incidents that happen in his circle of friends. The adaptation will utilize an original story set in the near future, revolving around the detective and a boy named Inga, who continually encounter mysterious cases.
