Utawarerumono: Itsuwari no Kamen
A surprisingly interesting show. I wouldn’t have guessed. I read the summary and decided to look for more info because it sounded kind of strange, but it turned out to be quite amusing. Quite amusing indeed.
The artwork is pretty good. I’ve been told that the studio that did Akame ga Kill! and several other popular shows is also working on this, so that explains why it looks so nice. I am also loving the characters so far.
I think it’s an all-round amusing show. The artwork is good and I am liking the story thus far. It’s nothing amazing and I can honestly say that there are other similar shows out there, but I’m still intrigued. It’s the kind of story that makes you want to know more.
I think it’s alright to recommend this one. The first episode was a pleasant surprise. Perhaps because I set the bar a little low. Either way; I am going to see where this is going because I like the look of it.
Plot Summary: The nameless protagonist awakens to find himself standing in the middle of a vast, snowy plain he doesn’t recognize. Suffering from amnesia, he remembers nothing about himself. Suddenly, he’s attacked by an insect-like creature but is saved by a beautiful girl with animal ears and a tail named Kuon. She names him Haku.
