Witch Craft Works episode 06
This episode struck me as rather dull after remembering last week’s eventful episode. I’m trying very hard to figure out the angle here. What are they planning? What can I expect from Witch Craft Works right now? The story is just too unpredictable right now. I have no idea when Honoka’s latest witch friend shows up again.
I think it’s best to see all of the characters as witches and wizards. You never know which character might show up dressed as a witch or wizard in order to abduct Honoka. Last time it was his sister, now it was both his sister and his science teacher. There’s just no end to them. You have to ask yourself how many witches and wizards are gathering inside that city right now.
Those scenes where Honoka gets caught doing god only knows what with Ayaka are obvious. Anyone could see those coming. Honaka’s sister has a thing for him and Ayaka is far too mysterious to read, so god only knows how she thinks of Honaka. It is quite clear that we can expect many more scenes where one character walks in on the other.
Now, where the hell did that strange twist come from? The school principle stands above all else, followed by the princes, Ayaka, and the student council president. The student council president wasn’t to Ayaka’s liking so she fired her and made Honoka president instead. Seriously, where does that even come from? This story is all over the place.
I’d like to use the last part of my reviews to write up a few expectations. I have none. It’s too complex to come up with decent predictions. I know Honoka is going to get into trouble again and that the white witch will appear again, especially now that Ayaka’s mother is investigating the matter. I might as well sit back and enjoy the mysterious ride.
