Young Black Jack

A lot of people have been making a fuss about Young Black Jack. Black Jack was a manga from somewhere in the seventies and it was very popular back in the day. There are a lot of parodies, movies and series about that character so it’s no wonder that many decades later they’re still pushing out Black Jack content.

Young Black JackThe artwork is more than acceptable from what I’ve seen. I’m not sure which studio is working on this since I didn’t do my homework, but it looks rather nice. I mean, the protagonist alone could be picked out of a thousand character line-up. I like that.

This story, unlike the main one, is about Black Jack’s journey as a student if I understood correctly. We will see how this young prodigy will earn his medical degree.

I think it’s safe to recommend this. It’s definitely an amusing watch. A lot of Black Jack fans are going nuts over it so there’s really no point in what I say now. They will be watching this either way.

Plot Summary: Kuroo Hazama, an aspiring young medical student, studies diligently from Dr. Jōtarō Honma, a top surgeon who had saved Hazama’s life when boy Hazama was badly injured by an unexploded bomb. Someday in the future, Hazama will be known as “Black Jack,” a surgeon with unsurpassed skills but without a license.
