Yowamushi Pedal: Grande Road
So the second season of one of the most predictable shows is here, huh? I’ll point out right away that I won’t be writing about this one. The first season was horribly predictable, which had a negative impact on my reviews. I don’t want to write demotivating posts if I can prevent it.
The story has always been the problem for me. I know what is going to happen next. I have seen the first episode of this season and I already know how their second day is going to end. It would’ve been a great story if it wasn’t so predictable.
Those that have seen the first season, like me, will watch the second season either way. I will watch it, I just won’t write about it. But if you, someone that hasn’t seen the first season yet, like sports anime even though the storyline is rather predictable; go for it.
Plot Summary: Sakamichi Onada is a wimpy high school freshman who loves anime. He initially wants to enter the anime club, but winds up joining the cycling club after meeting two classmates who are already famous cyclists. He undertakes the grueling training to compete in races, and discovers his own hidden talent in cycling.
