Nice! I absolutely loved Over Drive, another sports anime where characters race using bicycles, so I’m not surprised that enjoyed the first episode so much. Hell, it even has a little dude in it that’s way too fanatical about anime and manga.
The artwork is superb. It’s very nice, very detailed and the characters look great. That pretty much sums it up. I don’t think there’s anyone out there with any reasonable complaints about the artwork.
The artwork is definitely something, but I like the story even more. An anime and manga addict realizes that he’s good at riding his bicycle? That’s funny! I definitely sense an underdog story coming up, which is something I really enjoy.
I recommend this for sure. Comedy and sports fans will eat this stuff up. There’s also no doubt in my mind that Over Drive fans will watch this no matter what.
