Zetsuen no Tempest episode 10

I do not approve. Absolutely not. How could anyone consider this to be an actual episode? Nothing happened. Any progress made was absolutely minimum, yet we spent twenty minutes watching this. I am truly disappointed, Zetsuen no Tempest.

The entire episode revolved around Yoshino’s theories. He had interesting theories about Hakaze’s current predicament, but he lacked the evidence to back it up. In fact, his entire theory was just a stupid story that was meant to agitate Samon, hoping that he would panic, thereby giving them a morale boost. Sure, it may have worked, but at what cost? It was boring to watch. To think that this is what a lot of people have been waiting for these past nine weeks, a boring tenth episode with very little to no progress whatsoever. How shameful…

The fight between Natsumura and Evangeline was somewhat entertaining. Evangeline, a completely stranger to magic, held her own for quite some time against a full-fledged mage. That has to mean something, at least. She may have lost the fight but, providing Yoshino does his job properly, she may have won the war.

Frankly, there are only two things that haunt my mind right now. The first would have to be the idea of another horrible episode. I can’t deal with that, seriously. We have reached a crucial point in the story. No time to drag things out with nonsense. Secondly, I’m really curious about who killed Aika. My money’s on Junichirou. He’s way too composed to be innocent. Natsumura doesn’t strike me as the type that would simply take someone’s life, and Tetsuma, a guy that actually looks like a villain, seems a bit too obvious to be the culprit. It’s really between Samon Junichirou, although Junichirou isn’t actually part of the Kusaribe tribe. How very complicated indeed…
